This is a Great recipe to pair with Veggies for a Family Dinner! This Recipe is Heavily inspired by Rebecca Lindamood at foodiewithfamily.com! My version is less spicy and I personally believe is Easier to make. -Bremo
Ingredients
- 1 1/2 pounds boneless center cut pork loin cut into 1/4-inch thick slabs, then 1/4-inch thick strips, about 3 inches long
- 1 teaspoon Kosher salt
- 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
- 1 peanut oil plus extra if necessary
- 2 1/2 tsp Minced Garlic
- 1 1/2- inch knob of fresh ginger-Grated
- 3/4 cup mild honey
- 1/4 chili garlic sauce
- 1 tablespoon rice wine vinegar or white wine vinegar
Directions
- In a liquid measuring cup , whisk together the mild honey, chili garlic sauce, and rice wine vinegar. Set aside.
- Heat the oil in a pan until it is simmering, then season the pork with salt and pepper until coated (I tossed it in a large bowl to make sure it is evenly coated) Then add the pork slowly to the pan of oil, cooking until slightly browned on all sides, move to a plate for later.
- Heat the pan of garlic and ginger for 30 seconds or until you can smell it.
- Finally add the Sauce mixture you made earlier to the pan with the garlic and ginger, it will get bubbly after a little bit, but you want to make sure it has a warm honey consistency as Rebecca Put it and then add the Pork and toss until covered!
- Serve Warm and Enjoy!
